京極夏彦といえば、ぶあつい小説ですよね。まるでペーパーバックのような。
カナリの人気シリーズです。

公開されたアニメ版「魍魎の匣」の主人公・中禅寺秋彦の設定画(C)京極夏彦・魍魎の匣製作委員会　京極夏彦さんの人気小説「魍魎の匣」（もうりょうのはこ）が初めてアニメ化されることが明らかになった。キャラクター原案を人気マンガ家集団「CLAMP」が担当し、「デスノート」などを手がけたマッドハウスが制作する。

　「魍魎の匣」は、9冊で累計500万部のベストセラーになった京極さんの人気シリーズ「百鬼夜行」の第2作として95年に出版され、日本推理作家協会賞を受賞。昨年には堤真一さん主演で映画化もされた。美少女のバラバラ殺人事件が世間を騒がせている戦後間もない東京を舞台に、古本屋「京極堂」店主で“拝み屋”の顔も持つ中禅寺秋彦、探偵の榎木津礼二郎らが「匣」をめぐる奇怪な事件に巻き込まれていく。

小説からのアニメ化、多いですね。
すごいと思うのは、いわゆるライトノベルではない分野からのアニメ化ということです。

しかしあの分厚い小説を、どうやってアニメ化するんでしょうね？
エッセンスだけ抜き出して、全然別のお話になるような気もしますが。
とりあえず、期待しています。

という内容です。
（頭悪そうな紹介ですね・・・。大好きなシリーズなのですが）

鉄腕バーディー　DECODE1話を見ました。
設定がかなり違うようですね。
ギーガーとバチルスを追って地球に来たバーディーは潜入捜査として有田シオン（アルタ人・シオン星系）なんと芸能界にいるようです。
しかも、イルマの店に住み込み。
テュートはかなり人間臭い上に、人型になれるようです。

いや正直、ハリウッドでお金かけて映画化してもいいのではと思う位

原作者のゆうきまさみ先生ですが、週刊ヤングサンデーが休刊になることについて、
やはり多少憤りを感じていられるようです。（あたりまえですよね）
